It’s sad to see Ramadhan leaving our doorstep, as we do not know whether we could meet again next year. As for now, Happy Eid Mubarak to everyone!
Celebrating Eid at Didi’s house this year as my family’s house in Bandar Dato’ Onn isn’t ready to be moved in yet. As usual, we bought fireworks and played it to our hearts’ content. It’s nearly impossible to do the same in Singapore as it is strictly illegal. Here, in JB, you can see fireworks everywhere during the eve of Eid. Somehow it does feel like you’re in a war zone, explosions everywhere. Haha.
Btw, I applied Scoot’s Cadet Pilot program just now. Got the news through my school’s Facebook page. They mentioned “customised self-funded program”. I know it’s going to be expensive, but I hope that there will be other options of payment rather than giving the full cash straight! It costs about SGD200k for the ab-initio program at the Singapore Flying College (SFC). This program by Scoot is to bring more pilots into their new Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet which is taking place at the moment. Initially, SIA bought the fleet of Dreamliners but decided to pass it over to Scoot as the new Airbus A350XWB interest them even more. If given a choice, I’d rather take the A350! But who cares, I just wanna be a pilot!
Wish me luck!
